You’ve seen is before but you probably hadn’t given it much thought. Wide vinyl is popular in busy areas like offices, receptions, schools etc because its discrete and durable. 

Saying that it doesn’t have to be discrete there’s some really fantastic bold diagnoses available.  

Instead of having a repeated pattern why not have one image across your entire wall?

Lincrusta can be repaired. Often water damage can be one of the main reasons for damaged wallcoverings. In this scenario it wouldn’t be uncommon to find a damaged ceiling from an upstairs water leak.
